How does it feels like to be a Bachelor Early Childhood Education(BECE) student?

Before I entering the college, I feel that being a college student is about fun, enjoy, new and learn. However, after been through the college life for almost 2 years, I discovered that the college life is way more complicated and meaningful. It is about meaningful, mission, growth and practice. College life is totally different as what I have thought before.

Firstly, I thought that the college is just a fun place as I can make a lot of new friends in the college. Those friends came from different regions and different backgrounds. It would be a lot of fun to live with these awesome and "colourful" friends. Besides, I thought that I would just enjoy the freedom and happiness of college life by learning new things in the college. I wondered that the college life would be full of new challenges. And I thought college is just a place to get knowledge of some new skills for future job purpose.

The fact is that I'm too young and innocent. After experiencing the college life, I found out that college is not a fun place to play around but it is a meaningful place where I learnt things and skills that are really useful and applicable to build my future.We should not just having fun instead we should be serious towards the time we spent in college as once we leave here, we will experience the real world. And after we entering the real world, the things that we learnt before would be a lot more useful and meaningful. College is not just a place to enjoy but is a place to seek for mission in your life. I experienced this deeply in my study of degree of the Bachelor Early Childhood Education(BECE). I found out that the children are a very important asset for the future development of country and they really need a good and well-established foundation and education to maximize their potential. And there is a very important mission and vision for me to educate them so that they can grow up to be an useful asset for the country.Furthermore, I grown up to become an adult with responsibilities through the college. Indeed, there is a lot of new challenges in college life, but I learnt that the more important is we should be brave and have a strong sense of responsibilities to accept and face the challenges. We should be responsible to ourselves and also toward others in facing these challenges. Escaping from the challenges is not a choice and it is very irresponsible.Finally, college is not just simple and easy as just learning new skills. However, it is a place where we can experience something pratically with our own hands. Things that can be learnt is not just knowledge but a lot of pratical skills that are very useful in daily lives but would not be taught in the lecture.   

In a nutshell, college life is totally different as what I have thought before but I am still glad and grateful that I can experience those things.I learnt to be grateful as not everyone can experience the college life and I am the lucky one. The road to graduate for me is still long. Hopefully, I can manage to achieve it and leave a memorable check point in my entire life.
