Preschool Teachers instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary school in preschool, day care center, or other child development facility. May be required to hold State certification.
As preschool teacher, they
1.      Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.
2.      Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and field trips.
3.      Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
4.      Observe and evaluate children’s performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
Being a preschool teacher can be a difficult yet rewarding career in which you closely monitor young children and nurture them as they learn in the classroom for the first time. Here are some reasons why you should and shouldn’t choose a preschool teacher as your career.

Pressure to make sure students are learning and developing properly*
Need for community outreach, especially with parents*
Relatively low pay
There will be pros and cons for all jobs. The point is how much the pros outweigh the cons to you. A pro to you might be a con to Bob. A pro to Bob might be a con to you.
In conclusion, people who are suitable for this job tend to like working with, communicating with, and teaching people. They like helping or providing service to others. They also like working with forms, designs and patterns. They often require self-expression and the work can be done without following a clear set of rules.
